2Prospects (Leads)

What Is a Prospect?

Someone who showed interest but hasn't bought yet.

Examples:

  • Called asking "How much?"
  • Emailed: "Tell me more"
  • Saw your ad and asked for quote

How to Register

  1. Go to CRM > Prospects
  2. Click New Prospect
  3. Name, phone, email
  4. Product interested in
  5. Save

What Is Pipeline?

A view of "where are my prospects going".

Typical stages:

  1. New: Just arrived
  2. Contacted: Already called
  3. Interested: Wants more info
  4. Quoted: Sent quote
  5. Negotiating: Talking price
  6. Won: Sold!
  7. Lost: Chose someone else

How to Move

Drag & drop on board or edit status manually.

What to Save

  • Full name
  • Phone (mobile preferred)
  • Email
  • Company (if employed)
  • Position (if relevant)
  • Notes: "Likes blue color", "Best 9-12am"

5Converting Prospect to Customer

The Big Moment

When prospect says "Yes, I buy":

  1. Open prospect
  2. Click Convert to Customer
  3. System creates customer with their info
  4. Now you can create invoices
  5. Prospect moves to "Won" in pipeline
